DESCRIPTION:From the registration page: \nJoin the North Carolina Prescribed Fire Council and NC Longleaf Coalition for their joint 2022 Annual Meeting at Millstone 4-H Camp in Ellerbe\, NC!  \nThe North Carolina Prescribed Fire Council will host our 2022 Annual Meeting in the Sandhills region! This meeting will be co-hosted with the NC Longleaf Coalition and will include: \n\nMeeting August 10\, Millstone 4-H Camp (coffee\, snacks\, and lunch provided) View the draft agenda here\nSocial August 10 (Drink tickets and shuttles to/from hotel provided)\, Railhouse Brewery\nField trip August 11\, Sandhills Game Lands\, Camp Mu-Sha-Ni\, private land (water\, snacks\, and lunch provided) View the draft agenda here\n\nThere is a hotel room block available at $78.90/night at the SureStay Plus Hotel By Best Western Southern Pines Pinehurst Mention “NC Prescribed Fire Council” when contacting the hotel (910-692-0640) to make your reservation. In order to receive the discounted rate\, reservations must be made by July 8. Other hotels in the area are available\, however shuttles to and from the social will only be offered at the Best Western. \nSociety of American Foresters CFEs are expected for both the meeting and field trip. \nA silent auction will be held at the in-person meeting\, and those with items to donate should contact Terry Sharpe at sharpetl@rsnet.org or Carmella Stirrat at carmella.stirrat@tnc.org.
