AMS Committee on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology represents the membership on the subdiscipline surface-atmosphere exchange with a focus on feedbacks between the land surface and lower atmospheric processes (atmospheric surface layer), and how these influence climate, weather variability, and atmospheric impacts to near-surface atmospheric turbulent transport, forests, agricultural systems, and ecosystems in general. The 13th Fire and Forest Meteorology Symposium will occur virtually and includes a number of topics, which can be viewed here.
