New Fire Lines Newsletter: Volume 15, Issue 7
The latest issue (Volume 15, Issue 7) of the Southern Fire Exchange “Fire Lines” newsletter has been archived! This edition is packed with valuable resources and updates for the southeastern prescribed fire and wildland fire communities.
You’ll find that this issue looks different, a product of our effort over the last year to streamline Fire Lines for your use. Aside from an updated look and feel, content was changed as well: the research brief has been made more brief and applied, “SFE in Action” now features highlighted products and stories from “In the Field”, and additional resources, events, and such can be found in “The Brush Pile”. Want to let us know what you think about the update? Email us your thoughts at [email protected].
This issue’s research brief is on a paper from Noah Weidig and colleagues studying how large wildfires are occurring across the eastern United States in relation to the wildland-urban interface. Check it, and the rest of the issue, out to stay informed and connected with the latest in southern fire management!
