The Nature Conservancy of Alabama has advertised an Alabama Coastal Fire Program Coordinator Position. Description: “The Coastal Fire Program Coordinator directs and supports prescribed fire planning and operations, oversees training and qualifications of crew members at the local level, and builds partner support for prescribed fire management in South Alabama and NW Florida. This position is responsible for implementation of prescribed fire on TNC managed lands to restore native habitats and in supporting increased prescribed fire on other conservation lands that have been identified as management priorities. This position will be based out of our Mobile or Splinter Hill Bog Preserve Offices.”
