Jobs: Seasonal Winter Fire Crews, TNC North Carolina

The Nature Conservancy’s Southeast Coastal Plain office is hiring for their seasonal winter fire crew.  The position of NC Coastal Burn Crew Member (50269) and NC Coastal Burn Crew Manager (50268) is now open for application.  You can find the position posted on www.nature.org/careers, under North Carolina.  It is based out of Wilmington, NC.

They will hire for 3 crews, each with 3 burn crew members and 1 burn crew lead.

Housing & a crew truck is provided for all crews.  Work weeks are roughly 40 hours Monday through Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and weekend burning.  Aside from burning on The Nature Conservancy property, we will assist with partner burns on NC Forest Service, NC State Parks, Wildlife Resource Management and other non-profit properties.
