The Southern Research Station (SRS) is looking to fill a position for a Research Ecologist or Research Botanist at the Auburn University (Alabama) location of the longleaf pine research work unit, to be hired at a GS-11 or GS-12 level.

Additionally, the SRS is also looking to hire a Research Ecologist or Research Forester at the Stephen F. Austin University (Texas) location of the Restoration and Management of Southern Pines research work unit, also at the GS-11 or GS-12 level.

These are both new, permanent, full-time positions, with full federal government benefits.  This outreach will be open until July 10, 2021, with the position to be posted to the USAJOBS website (https://www.usajobs.gov/) at some point later this summer.
