The South Florida Interagency Fire Management Council is comprised of local, state and federal wildland and prescribed fire managers and practitioners of South Florida. The purpose of the annual meeting is to discuss and share current fire management issues, practices and technical information to promote a safe utilization of fire management practices to achieve desirable environmental goals. This opportunity promotes the interagency working relationships and strengthens the cohesion of the South Florida fire community that makes this work possible.
This year the South Florida Interagency Fire Management Council Annual Meeting will be held at the Doyle Conner Building, 900 US-27, Moore Haven, FL 33471.
Attendance will provide education credit for Florida Certified Prescribed Burn Managers.
Coffee will be served, but please bring your own lunch.
